] 4/21/2012 12:25:57 AM The M300A i got today has rather rough threading as well. My old M600 has nicer threads. I guess the rough thread are what we get with the price decrease on the scout lights? The lights get brighter, the tape switches get better, the prices get better…but the fit & finish got worse. On a postive note my new 3-volt M300A is brighter than my Gen-1 KL4 Based 6-Volt scout light. Suicideking

After about 16 months I was provided with the proper hardware to allow this product to work. Mesa Tactical did in fact provide me with larger diameter fasteners (same diameter as mossberg pins) and this does keep the trigger group from “floating” around in the receiver. Ran about 120 rounds through it and not one failure. It has been a rough road but I am finally happy that this side saddle works with my SPX. I was ready to throw it in the trash multiple times and was even tempted to use the side saddle as a target, but I’m glad I got the issues worked out with Mesa Tactical.
